SU ASBE Calculus Information

Welcome! If you are checking this page, chances are you have enrolled for the business calculus course.

The course will be using the WAMAP Assessment Site to deliver lecture notes, homework assignments, and other files. In order for the site to work correctly on your computer, you may have to install browser plug-ins that allow you to read the mathematical formulas and graphs that will be displayed. Please follow the instructions below to gain access to the WAMAP site and get it working correctly on your machine.

Go to http://www.wamap.org Do NOT attempt to log in or Register as a new student until you do a browser check. Click the link boxed in the snapshot below. (The picture below is not an active link. It's just a picture!)

On the page that appears, you may be instructed to download and install browser plugins such as the Math Player, AdobeSVGViewer, and/or Math Fonts. Download and install all the plugins the browser check advises, RESTART your machine, and repeat the browser check to insure all is working properly. If you cannot get your browser to check, then use the "Force image based display" option when you login after setting up your account (see next step.)

When your browser is properly set up, then you should register as a new student. (See picture above...on the actual web, the link for this is right above the Browser check link.) When you register, please choose a username and password you will remember. Also please use the same First and Last Names that you gave to ASBE when you registered for the course. Finally, enter an email address that you check regularly in case I send out class email messages. Please do not register more than once.

Once you have a username and password established, make your way back to the login page and log in.

The Course ID for Winter 2009 is 1092

The Enrollment key is also 1092

This enrollment key is only good through the end of the first week of the quarter, so please register and enroll as soon as possible. If you have any problems, let me know at MoralesMath@gmail.com.

After you click on the SignUp button, you should get into the course. Once you gain access to the course, please read through the Help File that is provided. It's not long and it will help you learn how to use the system. We'll also review it in class.

Please complete all portions of the First Night Assignment that's given on the WAMAP site BEFORE the course officially meets for the first time.

Don't forget to officially register for the course with the Albers School of Business and Economics. This web site is just for use during the class and does not reserve a spot in the course for you or register you into the course. If you need registration information, click here.
